Wellington Primary School has highly qualified teaching staff, who are valued by parents and children alike. We have the support of specialists who cater for pupils with special educational needs and those for whom English is an additional language. Music specialists provide instrumental lessons.
In addition to the teaching staff we have a dedicated team of support staff who look after the children’s welfare, support their learning and ensure the efficient running of the school.
All classes have support from trained Learning Support Assistants to work alongside the class teacher and with groups of children.
In each Year group there is a member of the senior leadership team working alongside the other class teachers and Support Staff. This ensures continuity in teaching and learning between the three classes.
The Head teacher, Deputy Headteachers, Assistant Head are always happy to make an appointment to discuss important issues and are instrumental in leading the School in good practice. All teaching staff are happy to help families and are available for appointments on request.
